The most recent addition to the offerings of CLAD is the introduction of leather tile. CLAD Tile offers leather tile for floors and walls from several different suppliers located in the US, South America and Europe.

Leather tile floors and walls represent a truly unique way of enhancing your living space, differentiating your home or office from everyone else. Leather tile floors are soft, comfortable to walk on and are surprisingly durable. Leather walls can make an office or den truly stand out from the norm. The colors range from tan, burgundy, black, beige, even green (the current hot colour trend in Europe). The finishes and textures can be customized to meet your needs. Several suppliers even emboss the surface to give the appearance of alligator, ostrich, or snakeskin.

Leather floors and walls need to be treated well to continuously give back the beauty they provide. Leather floors are not for kitchens, baths or any area that can have water regularly splash on them. (The occasional spill on a properly treated leather floor is no problem.) But the material is as durable as shoe leather and any scratches or wearing of the floor over time actually enhances the appearance, just as an old leather jacket's appearance improves over time as it is worn.
